Below is a list of important sports dates for Term 1 2023.
As you can see below Term 1 2023 will be an extremely busy term for sport, these dates do not include weekly summer sport which will be advertised at the start of next year.
We are always looking for parent helpers for athletics and swimming sports so keep those dates in mind if you would like to come help out.
FEBRUARY
8th February – 1500m, lunchtime
10th February – 3000m, lunchtime
13th February – Hammer Throw, lunchtime
15th February – EOHS Athletics
16th February – Challenge Wanaka and Otago SS Triathlon – Wanaka
MARCH
2nd March – Sports Leaders/Prefects Workshop, OSSSA
5th March – SISS Triathlon & Duathlon Champs, Oamaru
8th March – EOHS Swimming Sports
10th/11th March – Otago Athletics, Dunedin
15th March – Student Coach/Referee Workshop, OSSSA
15th March – North Otago Swimming Sports
16th March – Maniototo Exchange, Maniototo Area School
25th/26th March – SISS Touch Champs, Christchurch
30th/31st March – NZSS Triathlon Champs, Wanaka
31st March – 2nd April – SISS Athletics, Invercargill
APRIL
1st April – Otago Primary Schools Swimming Champs, Moana Pool
6th April – EOHS Cross Country
