Introduction Meeting China

Applications are Due by the 10th of December

7th or 8th July – 20th of July (Flights depending)

Please read through the PowerPoint above. Due to there being two options for the trip (Hong Kong/Beijing and Hong Kong/Nanjing). Parents/students decided they wished to do the Beijing/Hong Kong trip – Meaning we need to get in quickly.

No direct fundraising done through the school.

We are estimating that the price of the trip will be around $3000 ($230 sign-up fee). The unset prices are the flights and the earlier we book the cheaper the tickets. If tickets are cheaper then the cost comes down (the cost is only for your son/daughter – not for teachers). $800 for sightseeing and and insurance is approx $150 per student (this will be a group booking).

Visas – Visas are free to enter China for New Zealand passport holders – other countries would need to organise a visa. We would send them off together, but would be an extra cost to the parents.

If your child wishes to go (Must be completed by the 10th of December)

Please fill out the application form (Not filling in the medical form). This sheet will be returned so that you can get this completed in 2025. The financial part needs to be signed.
Copy of your child’s passport, but if they do not have it yet, a copy of their birth certificate is needed.
A two-minute video from your child on why they want to do the programme.

Payment Programme (or a set amount each week/pay can be done).

$500 – March 31st

$500 – April 30th

$500 – May 31st

$500 – June 30th (This payment may be less if flights are cheaper, or slightly higher depending on insurance and flights).
